Nightmares

I shiver and shake in a cold sweat as the nightmare awakens me....
As i come awake fully,,,,i wipe a tear from my eyes......
Why cant these fitful nights just stop and let me be....
Do they have to keep coming......why wont they die......

I squeeze and hug my pillow tightly to my chest...
Staring into the darkness once again as before...
It surrounds me , my own silent death,,,,,
One that i relive each night over and over,,,

My nightmares , these things of the past that stay,,,,
I wish these sleepless nights on no one...
Breathing in a deep breath exhaling.....
I close my eyes,,,but for what,,,,,,they will only come,,,,,,, only come...

oh my word!! i had this kind of thing weekend before last and i still haven't really thought much on what to say on the indescribable things... yet you did it here. YOU ROCK!! kudos! ;0)
