Autumn carries within it the death of many The subsiding of fall Decay of such beauty and color The absence of green for the winter As we lie upon the earth And embrace their collapse Its like a dream The endless amount of scattered leaves They bed two bodies Two lives that will one day fall like foliage Each and every slow descent Could very well represent a different life The vibrant colors to withered grays As were all faced with our own autumn one day
