Does anybody read any more,
or are we trapped in our own thoughts,
Like shattered vases upon the floor,
no one cares for any other's thoughts.
The lessons of our fore father's lost
because their topic does not agree with us.
A chance for friendship broken up
due to pride and arrogance.
Does any body care any more,
it takes more than me that's all I know.
To calm the voices in the storm
some one must lend a hand to hold.
It deeply hurts and drowns my heart
of all my family in dispair;
but most of all it angers me
they think I do not really care.
Advice is made to give a choice
if you are stuck in a hard place.
But do not blame the messenger
if he says theres something you must change
I hope this does not fall on death,
these words that I have written here
for one day I might need your help.
I hope you send a choice that's clear.
Does anybody watch any more
for vases broken on the floor
to piece them back together again.
Does anybody want a friend
If you see these words then answer me
please send reply I also need.
And I will send reply to you
I'll try to be a friend that's true.
(To those who judge my work based on my topic -you,re missing out!!!)

Aaaah yes, there's many that still read.
U really did a good job of exspressing your thoughts and feelings.
It is a sad thing at times but then when we have good times we really appreciate them more.
Good work. Keep it up.

A five star poem indeed....loved the verse for vases broken on the floor to piece them back together again.....that moved me. A poem full of emotion, coming from your heart.
