I'd Thought I'd Lost What I Didnt Have

a burning secret
like crackling fire
i thought it was over
that i would have to let go of this secret
open my mouth
and let it fly out
like burnt ashes
but i didnt need to
because i now know the truth
though it still hurts
i wish i could cross out my eyes
then maybe seeing you wont ache so much
i hate it
but theres nothing quite like you
i wish you could rescue me
but would you actually do that?
or just leave me in pain?
