I use the best in me to make you smile
And we lead ourselves to believe
That we have everything
Only to be trapped beneath
A sense of denial
And you brought me this far
To drop me off without a wave goodbye
Leaving memories of love to die
Only brings tears to my eyes
And I cry
Looking for answers below the surface
Knowing, but unknowing
Asking myself whether I deserve this
But its below me, never showing
Alone with myself I fade
And thoughts of you I drink away
Plenty of memory to erase
A piece of my heart broke today
Falls apart and will be missed
My mind drifts to nothingness
And you are all of this
Leaving this all of you
