So what was I
Some funny joke,
What were you really thinking
Every time you spoke?
So I was some fun
Someone who caught your attention, Someone you would have changed for?
No! changing is out of your comprehension.
I can understand it fully
That change is something hard,
But one thing I can not do
One thing I can not discard.
Is the lying that flows freely
from your bitter mouth,
I have turned my head before
Every direction; North, West, East, and South
So no where to turn
Except, I can stare directly at you,
And keep all this anger inside
What more can I do?
Because people like you
Don't feel remorse,
People like you bail out
As soon as the road gets coarse.
People like you
They are all around,
Stupid of me to think
You were something new to be found.
So when you kiss my lips
Not knowing that I know,
I kiss you back
Why? I don't know.
I should stop
And eventually I will,
Why have I let it go one so long?
It could not have been the thrill.
So what am I to you now
Your just using me for support
Love is not a game
Love is not a sport
It is something
That we never had
and for that my dear
I am very glad
But also I am sad
Because it's very untrue,
You did love me
And I did love you.

| I understand this one very well. But fear not, you will be able to let go of him when you are ready. Some people would do the same onto them as they did, revenge, or just humiliate them. You are a good writer non-the-less. I think this situation can be used as a learning tool for the future and a way to become stronger. You might think what I've said is crap, but I dont care, on the small off chance that you don't. But back to your writing, very nice indeed, surpasses my pieces. =] |
