Tell me what is left to do
'Cause I can't see beyond your face
I've lost my mind and I can't find it anywhere
My thoughts of you get confused
With everyone I've ever known
'Cause in the end you're really all the same to me
Never grew into my skin
Always tried to drive them crazy
Didn't understand all the things I grew up with
Tried so hard to be unique
And not get sucked into that life
Played the mouse and dreamed of someday falling in love
Now you know I'd rather sleep all day
Walk with the moon and talk to the stars
Than look at you and wonder if I belong
Can't help crying when you hurt me
Screaming at you when you fight me
I might walk away and never turn around again
The thoughts I think are dark and cold
Sometimes I just can't fake a smile
Won't someone come and save me before it's much too late?
Don't wanna get out of bed
Watching you sleep so quietly
It's easy to make believe you're something you're not
But I need to get away
If only for a little while
'Cause it's easier to love you from far away
When you talk to me, I feel alone
When you yell at me, I need to hide
That's when I know I'm not in love with you
I can't help hating you sometimes
For all the lies you've ever told
All the ways you fooled me and broke my heart in pieces
Can't help wanting to die sometimes
'Cause that's just how you make me feel
Now I know I can't spend my life with someone like you
Think of me
Care a little
Don't laugh at me and please don't fake it
Let me be
Don't say those things
You're killing me and I can't take it
Can't help bleeding when you cut me
Taking my life when you leave me
I might slip away and never see your face again
The life I live is black and dire
Sometimes I can't see a reason
So if my whole life is not enough, I'll say goodbye

| All your thoughts and hopes and dreams you plan to achieve from life gracefully put together in this poem. A sad write, it got me thinking about all the pain I've endured through my own life. An emotional piece with all feelings carefully placed together to create something brilliant. Loved this one, I could relate to it prefectly. |

Why the last line? Was that really what you had in mind when you wrote it? For some reason it struck me as out of place in spite of knowing that was the title. Maybe this is just a step toward goodbye. The decision, but not the actual occurrence. I don't know. It's late and that's just the way it struck me.
