Stares
Back and forth,
It's a watched pot boiling
Or somewhat similar.
Eyes keen to move
In tempo
In wait
In vain.
You have lost all concept of
And need not feel
The slow hands
Softly wipe the tears
From a face
That fears
The indefinite and infinite
Emptiness
Of time.
