Every day I wake and I put on a mask If anyone knew how I felt they would mock me Mock and laugh at me But some will say what I fool I have been I want to slowly strip my masks away But the real me now one can see I am the happy one and the happy one I will be Forever Emotions only equal rejection Rejection equals pain Pain equals something I know oh too well No more pan No more rejections No more emotions BUT Please stay by me till I can be me January 31st 2000

Very enticing - '...till I can be me'. Who's under the masks? Love it! |

Really awesome! I can relate and that's something of vast importance in poetry if you want to get published. Most importantly though, you write for you. |
