You knew I always loved you, even though I never said, You knew I would have taken away, the pain that you had so much felt. You slipped away, so peacefully, that day I will never forget, You saw us watching from above, you knew that it was time. You knew I would have saved you, If only I knew how. To us, you will always be our Father, you knew that, even then.

Thank you Chatabox. I can honestly say, hand on heart, I did, and said everything I wanted to before it was too late. I still feel his presence now, guiding me through bad times, and the good.
