I'm in a dark pool of lonliness
Suffering with despair
I tried to surround myself with friends
But I get pulled back into the darkness
I must do something
For one can die in the hot flames of despair
It comes with loneliness
Everywhere I go I get pushed into the dark
Becoming an outcast
Corrupted with loneliness and despair
Then comes the sadness
Drowning in the tears
Even for the smallest of things
Like my dark destiny
Mine is not for you to know
And even if u did
You still wouldn't understand my loneliness
I can't love anymore
Cause if I do the one I love
Will die faster then you
What I'm saying is hard to understand
For when you see me I'm cheery
All a lie, ALL A LIE
WHY MUST I LIVE WITH ALL OF THERE LIES
THESE LIES, these lies
It's like there is no light because of these lies
Their why I'm so sad
Sadness is after despair
And loneliness before it
If I give into this creature
Then all of my hard work
Would all be in vain
Farewell all
For we shall meet in hell

| Not bad at all. I know the feeling of been lonely even when you're surrounded by people. The poem projects frustration, desperation, exhaustion. It's got all the right ingredients for an A+. |
