Agents and Sympathizers (Revised)

Contributed by valek on Wednesday, 5th May 2004 @ 11:25:01 AM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

i watch you like a specimen in a glass jar
your world is what i have created in my mind
i can bring you closer to me, or throw you way afar
think you can see, yet all the while you've been blind
nothing is what it seems, appearances can be decieving
something as silent screams, is all that their concieving
agents and sympathizers preying on you the weak
gods and demons killing off all of you the meek
the chances you've had, creating the will
frozen with fear, world standing still
feet buried in the fire, seering all the while
my eyes go black everytime i see your smile
follow me down, i promise not to kill you
breath me in, cant promise not to feel you
swim in my blood, put one more cut on my face
let me have you again, i love the way you taste

Another really good poem from you. Censorship usually covers swearing, so I'll assume thats what it was banned for - if it wasn't, I'll assume it was for some kind of off-beat imagery.
Anyway, regardless, your poem was a worthwhile read.
Keep writing.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
