I was sitting here alone last night
Pondering what has happened
And then it became so clear
I realized why all of our memories have become charred and blackened.
I know that youre upset
I know you think I did wrong
I only have one question
How long will this go on?
Because if you dont love me
I know no one else ever will
And if you cant forgive me
My heart will forever be at a standstill
And if you never care again
Then I know Ill never heal,
Because if you dont love me
I may as well not feel.
