A friend is that part of you
That before you met them was never there,
A friend is your completion
The other half of a sacred pair.
Friends are the ones
That cant stop you before you fall,
But they are the first ones that will,
Brush you off and help you to stand tall.
A friend is that person you can rely on
Someone who will bring out the best of you,
Someone who will walk back through a ring of fire
Just to help to pull you through.
A friend is someone you can tell anything
And will still remain by your side,
Someone who knows how to understand you
And to wipe off the tears youve cried.
A friend is that someone
With whom your heart is intertwined.
A friend can read your inner self
And anything thats on your mind.
A friend is that someone
That you can call your other half,
That somebody who knows how to
Turn a sob into a laugh.
A friend is someone that you know
Has a unique place for you,
In an extraordinary heart of gold
Just the way that you do too.
That special someone, that would give their life
And if possible would send,
All the good in the world to you
Is your miracle, your friend.
