Grief

I stand, staring into space, Looking in my memory, searching for your face. Needing to hold you just one last time, Wanting you back, hoping for time. Love that surpasses what anyone knows, Needing to hold on to you, needing to let go. Coming to a crossroads we all have to pass, Wanting to stay, but there's no turning back. A will that drives us all on together, I need you on this side of forever.

I liked both this poem, as well as 'Demons Rule the Night'. I honestly feel your pain. My husband of 5 years is trading in our life for someone else who he claims is the love of his life. We have three children, the youngest is 4 months, and I am just 22. It sucks, it really sucks being dumped. But I've taken a step back to look at the big picture. It will get better, eventually. Move on with your life postively. Your ex isn't worth anymore time to put you through so much heartache! May God heal your pain and bring peace back into your life. |
