Light buzzes seemingly without noise
Confusing senses into misconception
Where did that bug come from?
Buzzing and baffled to be inside
Batting wings frantically against the shade
He is lost and will die in the dark
When I turn off the light
I am afraid to sleep, fighting the dark
Fears crowd around to jeer
Suffocate, hiding under the blanket
Thinking someone is under the bed
The boogey man brought a dusty bouquet
Too hot, too cold I dont know
I find no rest where I lay
One lost soul in the universe
Cut off from everything
Hear you breathing next to me
Im not alone..

Absolutely wonderful descriptions of the nights depth. It sends the exact image of night to my mind. I also get the sensations of being with someone,

Not so weird. A corner is being turned. Love the part about the bug and who can't relate to that fear of the boogey man and his dust bunny bouquet. Lovely. Your writing has a fullness to it that is seldom matched.
