Crazy spring birdies
throat sweet notes of love
horny toads croak their lust out.
Its time to run anew,older instincts
and bring on the love game.
In contrast,certain somewhere
frozen winter still
dug in its heel-
a shame on spring.
This season of love,I will wait.
For a lilttle spring bird
to come perch on my heart
and melt the ice
with its touvh of spring.
