If I should die

Contributed by jonteD on Saturday, 5th October 2002 @ 05:15:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

If I should die now who would be at wake,
Come and eat and drink at my demise,
Please do for heavens sake,
Tell tales of times past, all lies.

You never really knew me,
Should have looked at sad me within,
Perhaps studied beyond my glee,
To the bad man who wronged, all sin.

I shall now sleep for ever and a day,
But no one will miss my light that shone,
Down deep in the ground always to lay,
Never to be seen again, all gone.
