It Scares Me to think that I am Approaching
Old Age, I wonder how many more Years God will allow Me to stay.
Our Memories seem to be all We are allowed to keep, while Our bodies can no longer keep up with Life's Beat.
I stare at the Pictures on top of My Piano they
seem to be holding on to Old Shadows.
The Years have passed Me by so quickly, what happened to My Dreams and My Hopes?,I want to go back to being Young and Pretty.
Aches and Pains now My Faithful Companions remind Me once more, that Our Youth is Simply a Loan that with the Years We must pay back and for the Remainder of Our Lives, Yearn and Long for.
