Backwards
Watch out for your life
One mistake can take it away
One step backwards
Can lead to shame
Watch out for your death
One step foreword
Can surely end your life
That risk is worth the taking
Nothing is worth the staying
The present offers nothing
A step at a time
Into the unknown
Is better than running to the past
Running away is death
To your present self
Stepping foreword is a chance
A risk, to be something more
To end the past's hold on you
That step is the most important
Face the future with a stand
Walk away from everything
To stand for nothing, Or else
You'll be stepping backwards
You'll walk back to everything
You'll live the life of shame
