Its the thought of that gentle grip
And sweet smile that tears me in two
I still hear your giggles, your childish laugh
And then your cries
When I was out of your view
For just a moment
I remember putting my arms Around you
and scooping you up
Wiping your little brow, telling you
Everything is all right
Well dont you feel alone,
Your journey on this plane
Was not meant to be
But you will never be alone again
Just look back on your voyage
And Ill be there
Catch and keep my smile
Like I keep yours
The dark shadows have gone
and The shining, the twinkling of the light
Is there for you
To follow
And I will help to guide you
Your journey is not endless

I only wish you could have stayed
