Always the entertainer, always the clown A face painted happy, even when I'm down Starry eyes so shiny, holding back the tears Putting on a brave face, hiding all my fears
Always the entertainer, of that I am aware Deep down though, do people really care They don't know me, without make up so bright They go home smiling, I go home crying at night
Always the entertainer, I'll be to I die A painting of laughter, a mask hiding lies My lips curled in a smile, hiding all the sorrow Always the entertainer, I'll be back tomorrow
