She sleeps so peacefully in the night,
In her dreams a man comes along,
And holds her in his arms so tight,
As he sings her a beautiful song,
That night she sees a star,
With both of their names on it,
From a distance it is so far,
Away and she claims it,
To be the most precious gift,
To help her soul,
As it gets warm it lifts,
Up what's in her heart and unfolds,
Something that she has been waiting for all her life,
The man kisses her on the lips,
Helps her in realtionship,
He looks into her eyes,
And she begins to fantasize,
He is the one she needed in her life,
The one who asked her to be his wife,
Was this lady dreaming,
Or was she believing,
I only wish that it could be,
A girl like me
