The key
to falling
in love
is falling.
Whether to
rock bottom
or clouds?
The difference
is apalling.
I've fallen
both upward
and around.
But what
goes up
must always
come down.
And thus
I have
And hence
I will.
As I
have before
I will
sit upon
the windowsill
And cry
to nobody
wondering why
you have
to fall
to be
in love.

Such power, beauty and wisdom...delivered two words at a time. The two-word format reminds me of a long, thought-filled walk down a barren street. Another superlative poem to stand alongside the rest of your incredible work.

Impressive . . . I love the thoughtful, almost meandering quality this poem has by virtue of its two word lines. You can almost picture someone musing with a sigh, head supported by their hand and pausing every now and then in thought to jot down another few words.
Like I said, verrrrry impressive.
