'Tis dark in the outside; In this world beyond yours, Where your beaming smile Seems to hide.
I am lost In this benighted cosmos of infinity Seeking for your soul To breath light into me...
Oh deity divine! I am lost in the vastness of you. Lead me, oh guide me Towards thy beauty.
And when I find ye, Light! It is life! I shall find it in this vastness... In this vastness of you, A gleam of love... To light up my dreary heart To give sight to my blinded eyes.
I will find ye... I will... I... You.
