High School

Contributed by CassandraS on Wednesday, 12th May 2004 @ 10:36:37 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The deception and lies
Which are contained here
Fill me with despair.

The tension and disloyalty
Disrupt the lives
Of all within.

Hearts are broken
Friendships shattered
The ruins left behind for all to see.

Three years lost here
Can change a person
But sometimes not always for the better.

Trust is strained
Lines are drawn
Among which many friendships fail.

High School was terrible for me...but I learned not to judge others by their appearances...and I have tried my life not to treat others as I was treated...hang in there life outside those walls tends to even everything out

I can reate to all of this because I am in high school now, and everybody around here tends to talk to people because of their appearance. Nobody notices the inside of people, and they only tend to care about appearance, that is until they get their hearts torn in two...but it's cool..I'm not one of those people that judge by appearance. I am going through high school at a rapid pace, and I believe that compared to a lot of people in my school, I am a high-acheiver, and I have enough self-respect to actually love somebody for the inner them than the outer them..VERY GOOD POEM....
Keep writing!
Jamie
