a simpler life

Contributed by Black13 on Wednesday, 12th May 2004 @ 11:40:21 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

My body aches to feel your caressing fingertips.
Your gentle kisses melt my soul with breathtaking grace.
Eyes chant sublimely of love to my essence.
Your voice speaks to me in sweetest Spanish lullaby.

Mi amor sings to me like a warm Summer's breeze.
We dance together embracing in the rain.
Our laughter fills the skies revealing the stars and moon.
Always dined by candlelight divinely enraptured by one another.

Making wishes on hopes yet staying simple and pure together.
Dreaming together that we would outlast time itself.
Binding ourselves eternally to one another in spirit's embrace.
Mountains may crumble and oceans may dry but true love is eternal.

You have captured the essence of the one thing we all want. It isn't even really true love, but rather eternal intimacy with the one whose reflection is found in your own eyes. We're all looking for the piece of the puzzle that fits perfectly with the wounds in our own soul. Goodness, you have me rambling. Let's say I find this a very intriguing and obviously inspiring write. You have captured the universal human longing for oneness with another.
