Dark gothic fairy

Topic: toughstuff

dark gothic fairy...
sweeping the floor
dark gothic fairy why do you bother making sense of it all?
dark gothic fairy
whose dress is so tight
dark gothic fairy
no longer provokes the fight
you're wearing all black
except the white make-up
of your mask
god fears the betrayers wraith
your skirt swirls in layers
dark gothic fairy in a world so black
society wonders...
how oh how
can we gain your support back
well first you can take the rags from her feet
then give her some food to eat
make her part of your world
show her a childhood
that she should of had when she was a little girl...
then clean the streets
give her a home with heat
then just maybe maybe then...
the dark gothic fairy will paint her walls white
open the windows...
let in some light
maybe then the cleansing will begin
but it will never happen if you keep shutting her in

This grabbed my hand and dragged me into the darkness and then pushed me into the light.
Great poetry!
