Everlasting Dreams

Contributed by parkman on Thursday, 13th May 2004 @ 12:57:52 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It was a hot summer night, the air was still
The moon shone brightly, over the hill
As they drove the highway, to their destination
Both of them waiting, in anticipation
They reached the motel and looked at each other
Got a double room and a bottle of vodka
They had a drink, then another few
The chat was idle, but they both knew
They slowly stripped and got into bed
Their actions were sensual, there was nothing said
Their movements were rythmic, as they join body and soul
The two bodies writhed with pleasure, they had such a hold
They reached thier climax, of this sexual dance
And stared at each other, in a trance
They left the room, the sun was shining
And drove the highway, with the radio playing
They stared straight out, still nothing was said
But both were thinking, deep thoughts in their head
Both were happy about the passion
And a friendship that would be everlasting

that is so wonderful. the love between two people. i loved how you put it in scene for scene, and how one thing led to another; now they will be friends forever. that is so wonderful i loved how you made it work. that last line sums it up amazingly.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
