Who am I supposed to turn to
when all of this dissipates
Who am I supposed to lean on
Who is gonna give me faith
Tell me I'm gonna make it
Tell me this is fake
My reality is just a dream
won't somebody wake me please
I'm still holding on
to a rope no longer round my neck
Still waiting for it to get it over with
cut my circulation off and leave me dead
Memories linger
like horrible songs in my mind
Over and over again
Play back and rewind
Wish I could move on
to some place new
Or go back in time
to where I left you
But instead I'm stuck in a place
I never wanted to be
Left here to wonder
why this happened to me
