I wish you saw how much I love you
I wish that you could only see
I wish my eyes revealed my past and present
And how much you mean to me
I wish that this goodbye was easier
That you wouldn't be so unaware
The thing that scares me more than anything
Is the chance that you don't even care
I wish that maybe I could stop this
I wish I could make this pain end
I wish you'd realize you can trust me
Realize that I am your friend
But I've been wishing for too long
And nothing seems to change
I hope you love me
And I hope I end this pain
