Bitter Blue

Contributed by waos on Thursday, 13th May 2004 @ 09:17:01 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Cry tears of bitter blue,
see this conscience seared.
Cry tears of this painful hue,
see through this visage so bleared.
And scream the evil words innocent,
let the bodies fall to the ground.
And scream until your voice is lucent,
let the bodies crash all around.
Deny what makes you real inside,
scream painful obscenities upon your skin.
Deny everything you try to hide,
scream out the painfully bright red sin.
And try to let the whole world know
what goes on inside this translucent mind.
And try to explain the jumbled, messed, plateau
that is so utterly and completely entwined.
Just let these tears of bitter blue
flow freely from my eyes.
Just let these tears of bitter blue
erase the pain of all your lies.
