Sitting here in this silent oasis
I feel the tender touch of the wind that stings my cuts
But no more shall the wind hurt me
For the cuts have healed and so has my heart
For years I was shattered in this damn hell
Never should I feel happiness
But then my God lifted me up
And placed me next to you
"It is he," he spoke, with a voice so lethal
"That shall be your sorrow, happiness, night and day,
And will forever be your King of Hearts."
Where did you come from?
How did you know,
That a love so battered
Would suddenly grow?
Why in the world would you come to me now,
When I am at my worst
Can you heal these cuts,
For which have covered my body whole?
You took my hand
Like an angel takes her wings
You showed my love
More love than anyone could understand.
You gave me light
Where there was dark
And also joy
When only there was sorrow.
Let me thank you
For all that you have done.
Your my angel, my savior.
And you are my only one.
