Eternity's Fate
Maybe this is where it ends
Or where it begins
I have no idea
Where I started from
Or where I'm going
This is the journey
My fate is at the end
But where am I?
The path ahead looms dark
While behind is brightness
I can barely see either way
Blinded by my senses
But I won't give up
To be another lost soul
To live eternity wandering
I'll reach my fate
If it's the last thing I do
Where I go is a mystery
I've never been there
The light is so tempting
I want to go back
But the path erased
I can only go forward
Maybe this is where it ends
But I don't see ahead
Maybe I've already found fate
To wander my life away
Searching for what's not there
Living in fantasy

A beautiful poem smoothly depicting the ups and downs of life's journey. At times inspirational, at times depressing, at times with an air of uncertainty, at ALL times it's a powerful, well written poem and something everyone should read.
