his baldpatched hair greased back his height reduced by age his sanity reduced by insanity staring at sweaty workers drilling the sad street drilling so much there’s a hole from one end to the other end (in my head)
his eyesight limited to distortions he can’t move one inch more
“what are you looking at?”
that mouth won’t move that voice won’t work
it’s a hot day

i must say this did bring feelings of lunacy. just the thought of all these crazy occurances would drive one mad. it sure is a hot day, that is certain. great write!
