Her spirit drifts on a soft breeze
In silence I know she’s there;
I take my seat by the window sill
To behold the speckled sky
I love these late hours
When her light is brightest
The brilliance sent here
to light up my heart
I can almost touch
the smooth hands
That once embraced me
And wiped clear
All of my tears
If this is sleep
Don’t wake me
From my endless night
Don’t put a stop
To eternal love

this is a really touching poem about love. hopefully if you do wake, you will see that this person you are referring to still loves you like you love them. your images brought on by "wiped clear all of my tears" that is very touching indeed. loved this poem.
