I'm sorry that I can't trust you,
And can't believe what you say,
I'm sorry that I close you out,
And can't believe you want to marry me someday.
I'm sorry that I'm negative,
And always prepare for the worst,
I'm sorry that I can't let you in,
I'm protecting myself from getting hurt.
I'm sorry that I let my mind wander,
To situations where you are with someone new,
Someone that isn't me,
Someone who would be more worthy of you.
I'm sorry that I have no confidence,
And that I have no self-esteem,
I don't think I'm worthy enough,
I guess it's safe to say 'I don't like me'.
I'm sorry that I annoy you,
By the negative words that come out of my mouth,
And the heart-breaking visions I dream up,
Just so I can keep you out.
I don't understand why,
I do and think the things I do,
I don't know why I can't believe,
And trust those 'I Love Yous'.
I'm sorry but it's a battle,
Between my head and my heart,
Forever they will be feuding,
Thats always tearing me apart.
I'm sorry but I have to ask you,
Please don't give up on me,
Try to make me understand and trust you,
Please try to make me believe.
I'm sorry that it's so frustrating,
In trying to do all you can do,
But one day I know you'll succeed,
Because I honestly do love you.
I'm sorry that I don't show it,
As often as I should,
But if I could end this pointless battle,
I would do it as much as I could.
I'm sorry I'm so complex,
And you always don't understand my ways,
I'm trying to break down this barrier,
Hopefully it will eventually crumble one day.
I'm sorry but I do love you,
Believe it or not with all of my heart,
Nothing could ever change that,
Or render it apart.
I'm sorry for the negative side of me,
And in all that I do,
But I have found that someone who could change me,
And that someone will always be you.

I really feel for you, your words jump out of the page at me, you have out this across very well indeed, you sound alot like me. But I am getting through it as I'm sure you can too, you just need to find the strength from somwhere, but it will come in time.
