I Try

"I Try"

Finding things to say,
Im driving you away
For you to find a better life
I dont want to be your love story wife
I try
I try to make things better
But I only make them worst
I rebuff our needs
I try to plead
And make you forget you ever met me
Your crimson lips
Your blue eyes
Are something I try hard and despise
You are so much perfect
In this god forsaken place
I try and rebuff your feelings
I was complacent with my life
Before I met you
I try
To make things better
But in the end it may be for the best
We should just forget about the rest
Im driving you away
Trying to find excuses to say
I feel you near me
Even thought your far away
But you dont need me
You deserve better

Hmm.. very deep again. you write feelings, things on your mind. Its good to let it out.and i always comment on the feelings after all, they help sometimes. Everyone gets what they deserve, you get out of life what you give in, know what i mean? doesnt always work like that but u no lol. He does deserve you. its wrong to put yourself down, im a hypocrite saying that but, i'm just too used to it :)

I was complacent with my life, Before I met you. its as if you took the lines from my mind...
sometimes I feel almost.. not fake but just not fully there, unnoticed. I like the way you put to words your feelings. great poem and I look foward to reading more
