Melancholy is the melody of life,
Every day is another note.
The notes differ at every turn,
Yet the melody remains.
My life plays to the same music as others;
The arrangement, different.
Heart and thoughts are the music,
Action the musician.
The musician is a slave to the music,
The music, unpredictable;
Yet the musicians' action can destroy,
The master is dependant.
Like all music my life will end,
I hope it is a grand performance.
