Hiding behind a mask that isn't really me
Simply because I'm afraid of what those on the outside will see
I know that it is silly and really insincere
But when one lives like me, all they do is fear
And so to everyone, I go about my day
Thinking nothing at all of all I do and say
Now is this really me or is it someone else
Why can't I stop this nonsense
Instead of putting on a pretence
I will give in one day
And stop putting on a show
I will unvail the mask and reveal to you,
All that you should rightly know
