Lay me down In an unfamiliar place And steal secrets from me
Make me trust In an unabashed way And take moments from me
Hold me close In an uncomfortable way And draw life from me
Let me go In an unforeseen end And take something from me.

Short, sweet and powerful. Its amazing how you managed to get so much depth into so few words. Gorgeous.

Damn, when I saw the title I was thinking of something else. I'm sure you know. You know where my brain has been at the past few weeks. But yeah, again, I relate to this so much.
Talk about short, powerful, and to the point.
Very well written.
Thank you,
Timber

This is an excellent example of how it is possible to express deep feelings effectively and efficiently with an economy of words. As I read the last line, my first thought was how this poem reminds me of Emily Dickenson. This is a jewel!
