A so called merciful existence
Created so we could live for the end?
Trampled by lies
Ravished by hate
A purposeless journey.
And when we reach the breaking point
We can only buy into the blood.
Were selling ourselves short
Striving for aesthetics
Finding only twisted memories of failure
Flooding your mind in black and white
Lacking compassion
Worthless dreams of unreachable goals
Anesthesia made of sullen spills
And what of the scars?
Looked on as psychotic
Attention getting meaningless grasps at what is out of reach.
The external replacement
When tears refuse to fall
And fear holds you motionless
And the cold withdraws the balance youve spent so long failing to achieve
Just another slow suffocation
That everyone misreads
As needing personal invasion.
And if every second is killing
Then release the pain youve held beneath your skin.
Let it transfuse into the open
Show the world.
Let the blood rise to take another faithless victim.
Spill one last time and let mistrust dissolve your scars.

This poem was a rude awakening to the real world. You wrote this with so much passion. I don't know what I would do if I only had earthly things to aspire and dream of. Did you ever think that the reason why this earth is so evil is to let us know that there's something better? Powerfully written poem! Intense.
