She's so pretty
just look at her
look at her body
look at her curves.
She's just so pretty
does she realize how so
everything about her
is so beautifully known.
Her being pretty
and completley perfect
makes everything thats happened to her
completley worth it.
It doesn't matter
with the tears in her eyes
as long as no one sees
her wanting to die.
As long as she smiles
and pretends she's okay
everyone will think
that she's beautifully sane.
She need not worry
about the comments people make
for nothing would happen
her beauty no one would take.
She doesn't understand
how lucky she is
to have all the looks
every girls wish.
I just cant understand
why she is always so sad
I know poeple have hurt her
but thats just too bad.
She has to stay pretty
no matter what goes on
because she so lucky
to always belong.
I dont understand
why she gets upset
when someone touches her
without any regrets.
What i would give
to be in her shoes
I would be so happy
even to get used.
To get so much attention
looks, comments and stares
there couldn't be anything better
I'm sure nothing could compare.
I wish someday
I could be like her
but I know I wouldn't
let myself always get hurt.
I wouldn't care
what happened to me
as long as my beauty
everyone could see....

| this is really good, but sumwhat sad. one of my best friends is really pretty, but she knows it, and it scares her. she's already had people hurt her and she is only 14. great poem, keep up the good work. |

This is exactly how i am...looks aren't everything...and thats what I try and get out to everyone..but they stare and dont listen...I hate having good ideal looks...sometimes its good...but I still hide myself from everything...so many people comment on why im not happy but dont bother to ask why? its like c'mon people seriosuly...im hurting and they are staring just get on with your ***** lives!!!!!
you can read what makes me sad through my poetry...tell me what you think...buh bye now... |

| that is a wonderful Poem and so true on how some very pretty people feel. Just because you have looks dose not mean you are happy sometimes you don't even know how pretty you are. |

Well at least your not ugly and sad or you would have real problems. Sad to hear everyone thinks you should be happy cos you pretty, stupid dumb bastards.

| moving poem. i liked it a lot. i feel like both sides at different times. sometimes i get comments, compliments, touches, etc. but other times i feel like the ugliest person in the world. no matter what position in in though, im not happy. and i often feel like some people should be soo happy because they're virtually perfect, but then i realize that beauty doesnt always=happiness. anyways i dont really know what im saying lol. sorry for rambling. great job, its an amazing poem. |

Reminds me of a song by Belle & Sebastian called 'Beautiful' It's one of my favourites; 'She was beautiful/only slightly mental/Beautiful' Ah, the things that hide behind a pretty face; and it's amazing how much damage you can mask with a smile. Nice write, thank you,
