Standing on the beach shore
My heart is like a door
The door is closed
To the love a man
The threats
The yelling
And the put downs have to stop
I think about all the nice words he had ever said
But there are none
He hates me
Never said anything to make me think differently
Hold me, comfort me hug me
Take away the pain
Help me love him
I dont want his love
The pain hurts too much to bear
Open my heart Lord
Mend it
Heal it
Touch it
Then never leave me
