"Hurting You Is Killing Me"
I lost control; My hand slipped
I didn't stumbled, but I barely tripped
Broken knee and two black eyes
Being half dead is no big surprise
Lost control; But kept my soul
Lost my fear; Gained a new role
Now I'm alive; No denying
Never cheated; But caught lying
Not on purpose; Merely an accident
Paid my taxes; But missed the rent
Couldn't make me; never will
Like the ride; But I'll love the thrill
Swallowed my pride; Denied the pill
Hurt your feelings; But they were never killed
You're not my family; Barely kin
Break the boundaries; Break the skin
Does it hurt? How much pain?
Dry it off; Wash it in the rain
A little cut, nothing more
On your face; A simple sore
Fix it up; Just move on
This is just another song

I definitely feel you on this one. for months i had tried to push away some people that I was close to and did some cruel things in the process. I did ask for forgiveness and surprisingly got it. But it still hurts when I look back on it.
