Pieces scattered on the floor
And from within, a void
Hole of blackness, wall of pain
Confidence destroyed
Total isolation
Creeping up and down the hall
Ladder of uncertainty
Resist the urge to crawl
Withdraw into insanity
A pit of deep despair
Emotional destruction
A panic in the air
Tears of harsh reality
The sting of open wounds
The pleading of a bitter heart
Echoes throughout the room
Pieces scattered on the floor
The remnants of my soul
Futile misconceptions
Of dysfunctional control
