"Always Here, Never There" Stand up, then fall Stumble and crawl Benevolent and Benign But you're still one step behind Exuberant when happy Rarely flagrant, but always sassy The way you say those words; The way you braid your hair I always feel that rush, and I'll never forget to care The gravity of these feelings gets me to the top My short hiatus from this town, won't make them stop I'll always feel this way, no matter what you do Even when you don't care about me, I'll care for you Can't make it go; It'll never disappear No deep regrets; Not even a tear Nothing I've heard, and nothing I've read Could make me hate you, or wish you dead Because I'm going to feel it, always and forever Even when you're old; Even when you're not clever
