If tomorrow never comes,
If I never see the mornings rise
Ill sell my story to the stars
And let it be seen by everyones eyes
Whenever it is I leave this earth
I wont leave them all empty-handed
Ill show them the path I took
And only hope they understand it
Im not sure I want to come home just yet
Even though this world can be so cold
I hope its not over, nevertheless
Cause I havent that special thing to hold
If I turned around after some while
And caught only a reflection of the perfect me
Would I be so content with everything,
That itd be only myself I see?
I promise myself, one of these days
Ill be honest and actually care
About how my life here will end
Even though I think it got me nowhere

| this is a really good thought prevoking poem, It made me think about the way I've been feeling and how others would feel if I took the path that I wish I could sometimes... great write! |
