Different Face, Same Love

Contributed by CuttersAngel on Wednesday, 19th May 2004 @ 08:40:37 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Another night I lay by your side
A mind full of questions still asking why
Unable to sleep and cant stay still
Knowing you dont know the pain I feel
Hope thats fallen too fast to catch
A love thats turned to all the rest
Still so many problems when we started going out
And theres so much you still dont know about
A broken heart cut far too deep
Another guy that can make me weak
Scarred for life from so many mistakes
But ***** this life and you cant change fate
Another guy to inflict the same wounds
And another knife will again stab me soon
Its always been the same guy but a different face
But maybe its me, I must have the wrong taste
Am I too hard to handle, too hard to love
I curse the sky and the one above
What have I done to deserve this pain
The past will forever be held in vain
And this mental illness tears me apart
So many problems but where to start
A fight that exhausts me to the core
A relationship like all the ones before
So many thoughts surrounding sleepless nights
Not able to change and make things right.
