barely three but already grown up
mother ran away left with
black and blues.
father comes and goes as he pleases
not caring for his only child
she grows up without love
striving on hate, black ang blues
she's twelve years old when
daddy brought her home,
a new wife and mother to love
she brought with her
three young men ages
fourteen, sixteen, and one
that was twenty.
the girl was happy she found
a new family
